The machine consists of a soundproof processing cabin, closed on all sides, in which sanitary ware is ground; the cabin is traversed by two guides on which a carriage moves.

On the wagon's support surface are plates on which the sanitary ware is placed and clamped. The wagon translates on the track and alternately transports from right or left the parts inside the grinding cabin. The machine works continuously: during the carriage translation when the right support table with the workpiece exits, the left support table with the workpiece enters at the same time. The milling unit consists of an arm moved by a copying device along the three axes X, Y, Z; the translation along the axes is controlled by single electric motors, two for translation along the X axis and one for translation along the Y and Z axes. The milling unit also carries the motor that rotates the cutter. The machine comes with a diamond head to be able to grind the sanitary; it can not only translate vertically and horizontally following the contour of the workpiece, but also rotate 90° by working both the support surface and the shoulder of the workpiece itself. The machine has a working range of 2250 mm on the X axis, 1200 mm on the Y axis and 1100 mm on the Z axis. The machine has three doors, the two side doors for workpiece entry and exit close when workpiece processing begins in the booth and open automatically when workpiece processing in the booth ends, and a central, manually closing and opening door, which is used to view the work and for adjusting and storing the workpiece template.

The central door is equipped with a consensus sensor that stops the door from opening when the machine is working in automatic mode.

By means of a solenoid valve system, outgoing water is sent during machining to the grinding headto cool it and remove abraded material. The processing water is conveyed to the bottom of the cabinwhere there are two holes, for collection and disposal.
